Movember x Toms Collaboration

With November signalling the start of ‘Movember’, it’s ‘grow time’ for ethical footwear label TOMS as it showcases
its latest designs to support the cause.

Not just content with putting shoes on the feet of some of the most vulnerable children around the globe, this
is the fifth year that TOMS has teamed up with the Movember charity, offering a limited edition range of footwear.
The label has unveiled a four-piece collection of limited edition shoes featuring moustache prints and motifs to raise
money in association with the month long facial hair challenge. Models include the brand’s classic canvas,
paseos and brogue shapes.

The Northgate collection by Fred Perry

Untitled-2Named after a street in Fred Perry’s native Stockport, the Northgate is a boot built
from the essence of British winters past. Design takes root in military references, with a high-grip commando
sole based on the standard issue combat boots adopted by mods and skinheads in the 60s.
Diamond-stitched quilted canvas, horse hair-embossed leather panels and Harris tweed inverweave in tribute
to heritage ourdoor dressing, while long wing brogue detail gives a crafted, hand-tooled finish.
A boot for braving the elements.

Clarks Originals SS14 Collaborations

As ever, Clarks Originals have made some incredible collaborations for their SS14 collection and you can expect to see some of these available to purchase from your very own Scorpion Shoes. But first of all let us tell you about some of the collaborations from Clarks this season.

Starting off with one you will be able to see, touch, smell and purchase from yours truly, the PATTERNITY collaboration. If you haven’t heard of them then you need to check out their website

Next up is collaboration with British-born American underground HipHop artist, DOOM, taking the classic Wallabee shoe and brand stamping it with his famous gladiator mask at the heel and the interior lining, finishing with the word ‘DOOM’ etched into the handtag and a touch of suede around the ankle. Simple, yet effective.

J.Crew x Sophia Webster Collaboration

This upcoming spring we are all awaiting the Brit-American collaboration between J.Crew and Sophia Webster. British Footwear Designer, Sophia Webster, has designed a capsule collection for American brand J.Crew. Webster is known for her quirky designs and by reworking her most popular silhouettes and styles, emphasising on the colour and patterns she has created this fabulous collection for the J.Crew brand. The collection is full to the brim of vibrant taffetas, spring florals and neon colours, along with her trademark tassels and embroidery.
